Position Summary:

Greene Street Friends School seeks an experienced, professional and dynamic Development Associate to administer many of the program tasks involved in both a multi-faceted annual and capital fund drives.

 

Primary responsibilities include administrative support for capital and annual fund drives, database management, gift processing, producing a monthly newsletter, research, and assisting both the Director of Development and the Director of Annual Giving.

 

Experience with Raiser’s Edge is necessary, as is belief in the mission of the School.

 

The position involves working closely with volunteers, donors, and vendors, as well as with Greene Street Friend’s students, faculty and administration.

 

This is a temporary, hourly, position between August 8 and November 20, 2018.


Responsibilities include:

  • Data-entry and processing of all gifts received by the Development Office.
  • Creation of acknowledgement letters and tracking of letters to ensure their accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate and maintain all contribution documentation and records, and report and send acknowledgment to donors.
  • Management of 1,000 piece solicitation mailings, including stuffing, sealing and stamping.
  • Development and maintenance of appropriate tools to communicate effectively with volunteer fundraisers. Communicate regularly on fundraising efforts with volunteer leadership.
  • Development of monthly internal and external statistical reports on fundraising outcomes.
  • Creation of presentations and additional materials in electronic and print platforms to enhance public relations and fundraising activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
