Princess Smartypants a Smash!

This story by Babette Cole is a modern take on a fairy tale that features a princess who does not want to get married and charges her suitors with ridiculously difficult tasks.  Director Elizabeth Hanz wrote the script, maintaining the combination of quick wit and zainy humor that has made the story so popular with children. In the Greene Street Friends version, Prince Tadpole wins the heart of the strong-minded princess by answering questions about popular culture. With a fairy godmother, a dragon, three princesses, king and queen and no less than five princes, the play had something for every age.
