Parents Association

New Co-Presidents in Place for 2012-2013!

The Parents Association is pleased to announce that Stephanie Sweedler and Nyesha Taliaferro have agreed to be Co-Parent Association Presidents for the next two years.

Stephanie Sweedler is the parent of Paige, a second grader. Nyesha Taliaferro is the parent of Jada and Joelle who are first graders.  Both Stephanie and Nyesha have been involved in volunteer activities at Greene Street over the last few years.  Stephanie has been coordinator for the Back to School Dinner and Stan Kenyon Picnic. Stephanie has also been an ongoing volunteer at MLK day of service,  helping out with everything from making paper flowers to filling breakfast bags.  Nyesha  has volunteered in many different ways at Greene Street , helping out at the fall fair, coordinating children’s activities at the Stan Kenyon dinner and  taking on the role of room captain for annual giving. Both Stephanie and Nyesha  have been  room parents  for their children’s classes.

Stephanie and Nyesha are excited to begin planning for next year and are already working to recruit parents to join the Parents Association.
