Please join us next Friday night, September 18 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for a celebration of the new school year at the Parents Association's Family Picnic! This is a fun event and a great time to connect with friends as well as introduce yourself to new GSFS families.

The Parents Association will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers.

The picnic is $6 per person or $24 per family of four or more (kids under four are free!). If your student is in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5, please bring a side dish, vegetable, or salad to share. If your student is in Grades 6-8, please bring a dessert or fruit dish.


Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:

Setting up (adults or strong students in Grade 4 or older beginning at 4:00pm)
Grilling (half hour shifts starting at 5:00pm)
Manning the registration table (half hour shifts starting at 5:15pm)
Monitoring the food table (half hour shifts starting at 5:30pm)
Bringing out desserts from the kitchen (from 6:15pm to 6:45pm)
Cleaning up (adults of strong students in Grade 4 or older beginning at 7:00pm)
