Bianca's classes

Bianca Adger

middle school

Bianca graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12).  Bianca also received a Masters in the Science of Reading from The Lincoln University. Previously, Bianca taught for eight years at inner-city charter school as a lead teacher. Bianca is extremely excited to be one of the fifth-grade lead teachers at Greene Street Friends School.

When Bianca’s not teaching, she’s acting. Bianca has been doing Playback Theatre since 2005. Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre in which audience tells stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot.  Bianca uses Playback as a vehicle for social change. She is a member of Playback For Change and Yes And Playback Theater. Bianca is also an ensemble member of Just Act! Just Act ignites public dialogue and action planning using theatre-based tools with collaborating partners invested in making meaningful social and civic change.

Bianca lives in Germantown with her husband Khaleel, who is a lower school art teacher at GFS, and their three children who all attend Quaker schools, the youngest of whom is a GSFS student. Bianca loves all kinds of teas, collecting mugs and magnets, long hikes, basketball, and road trips.
