lower school

Mol White (they/them) is delighted to join the GSFS community this 2022-23 school year as a 3rd-grade Teaching Associate. Mol has been teaching in Philadelphia for the past 7 years in a variety of settings; a private tutor/nanny, pre-k music educator, and 3rd and 4th-grade lead ELA teacher for North Philadelphia Charter Schools.

Originally coming from a music and art background, Mol was classically trained as a pianist and vocalist ranging from opera to musical theater and performed in drum corps as a lead percussionist. Mol received their B.S. in English from Rowan University in 2017, with a minor in Anthropological Studies, and an honors focus. Mol is a Trauma-Competant Educator receiving training from Lakeside Global Institute and is also a certified Sex Educator through Yes! To Consent.

Outside of the classroom, Mol is a professional musician and performer, a freelance private music tutor, and a writer; they facilitate group discussions for disability advocacy, gender-inclusive/trans advancement, Mental-health awareness, Anti-racism, and BIPOC empowerment. Mol is currently working on an anthology of spooky short sci-fi stories for publication and is looking forward to going on tour with their band in October.
