Annabella Capaccio - Spanish Teacher

Annabella Capaccio joined the Greene Street Friends School community in 2026 as the
PreK-6 Spanish teacher. Originally from Connecticut, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at
Muhlenberg College with a double major in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture and Vocal
Performance. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Annabella taught classroom music
bilingually in Philadelphia through ArtistYear, an AmeriCorps program, and freelanced as a
soprano and dancer. She then attended the Bard College Conservatory of Music’s Graduate
Conducting Program, receiving a Master's in Music. Annabella is thrilled to be returning to the
Philadelphia area and back in the classroom. Her passion for community and intentional
engagement is a driving force behind her teaching philosophy and love of languages. When not
in the classroom, Annabella can usually be found reading, hiking, singing, or experimenting in
the kitchen.
