Welcome to Greene Street Friends School! We are a Quaker school serving children aged 3 through 14. Located in the heart of the Germantown community, we welcome students and families from across the Philadelphia region. Our campus invites students to deepen their sense of place, interweaving historic spaces like the Green Street Meetinghouse with modern learning facilities.

Since 1855, Greene Street Friends School has educated children according to the Quaker principles of honesty, respect for the individual, peace and simplicity. That tradition of innovation continues today with an emphasis on hands-on learning, peaceful methods of conflict resolution, cultural understanding, community service, environmental education and the thoughtful incorporation of technology into the curriculum.
