Admission Process
Our admission process is designed to be transparent and supportive, informed by our Quaker values of integrity and community. GSFS welcomes applications from all families who believe that their student will grow and thrive in our engaging learning environment. We accept new students in Preschool through 8th grade and look forward to getting to know your child.

| ONLINE APPLICATION | Complete our online application form. If applicable, complete the financial aid application form for students entering grades PK-8. | December 15 | January 15 |
| Teacher RECOMMENDATION | One recommendation from your child’s current lead teacher is required of all applicants. | December 15 | January 15 |
| Report Cards | Report cards from the previous and current school year (when available)are required for applicants to grades 1-8. | December 15 | January 15 |
| Student VISIT & Assessment | Applicants to grades PS-K join us for a morning playdate while applicants to grades 1-8 visit in a classroom. One-on-one assessments are completed during the visit. | December 15 | January 15 |
| Parent/ Caregiver Interview | The parent/caregiver interview can be in person or on zoom, by appointment, usually the same day as your child’s visit. | December 15 | January 15 |
| Admission Decision | You will be notified of the school’s decision regarding your child’s application for admission. | January 15 | February 15 |
| contract & enrollment deposit due | A signed contract and tuition deposit is required to secure your child’s spot at Greene Street for the following school year. Enrollment deposits are non-refundable. | February 15 | March 1 |
