student visit during Covid-19

Due to the needs of social distancing, Greene Street has temporarily suspended in-school student visits. We will return to these visits as soon as public health experts advise us that it is safe and prudent to do so. In the meantime, student "visits" will be through Zoom, and include observations and age-appropriate assessments. Visits will begin in November and continue through the winter.  After we receive your application, a member of the admission team will call you to set up your appointment, or you may call the admission office at 484-410-9664.

parent interview

A parent interview is also required in the admission process. When we arrange your child's Zoom visit, we will also plan a 30-45 minute parent interview.

testing
Greene Street Friends School requires that all students be tested for admission. A member of the Admission staff as well as teachers will work with your child one-on-one in such areas as reading, writing, and math, as appropriate for their age and grade. This assessment will occur during your child’s visit.

teacher recommendation and release of information forms

If your child is a Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade applicant, one recommendation form is required. If your child is a 6th grade through 8th grade applicant, two forms are required. We also require student records for students applying to grades 1-8.

admission decision

Families who have completed the application process will be notified of the admission decision by February 1.
