At Greene Street Friends School, we believe in pursuing a broad range of learning experiences to stimulate enthusiasm, understanding, creativity, and a passion for learning. The GSFS library is an important embodiment of our community value of developing joy in reading. In addition, the library is a place in which students can explore, investigate, and create across a variety of traditional and new media forms.

The Armat Learning Commons opened in fall of 2022. It is a space where students, faculty, staff, parents and caregivers build community. In addition to the renovated library space, there is a community room. The Commons speaks to Greene Street Friends' mission to cultivate partnerships within our school and stretch beyond to our families and neighbors in Germantown.
