Jackalyn Shields - 4th Grade Lead Teacher

Jackie (she/her) is a dynamic 4th grade lead teacher here at GSFS. She grew up in the northeast section of Philadelphia. In 2019, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a year later received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Marywood University in Scranton.
Jackie believes in creating a joy-filled learning environment. She hopes to help her students grow as individuals and inspire them to bring goodness into the world. She strives to instill a love for learning in her students everyday they come to GSFS. Outside of school, Jackie enjoys spending time in and around Philadelphia searching for new restaurants, enjoying the beauty of the museums, parks, and trails, and appreciating the cultural experiences of the city!
