Jen Sharp - Lead Preschool Teacher

Jen (she/her) is happy to join the Greene Street Friends School community. A native Philadelphian, she grew up in East Mount Airy and attended Quaker school, where she first connected with the values that continue to guide her teaching today. Jen began her career at Echo Hill Outdoor School on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, where she fell in love with teaching, science, and the outdoors. She later moved to Colorado, where she continued to grow as an early childhood educator. Jen holds a bachelor's degree in English from Wittenberg University.

Outside the classroom, Jen loves hiking and being outdoors with her dog, Bandit. She is also learning how to grow things and enjoys spending time in the garden.
