Miriam White (she/her) joined the GSFS community in 2023 as Co-Theatre Director and is honored to be part of such a vibrant creative family. An active member of Philadelphia’s theatre scene, Miriam has performed on many local stages. Favorite roles include Our Town (New Light Theatre), Clue (Bristol Riverside Theatre), Salt Pepper Ketchup and We Are Proud to Present… (InterAct Theatre), Clean Slate (Passage Theatre), and Cinderella (Arden Theatre Company).
In addition to her work at GSFS, Miriam serves as the 8th Grade Capstone Coordinator at The Philadelphia School, where she guides students through milestone experiences such as high school placement, their Shakespeare production, and graduation. She also leads the school’s drama club, nurturing young performers’ creativity and confidence.
A graduate of Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania, Miriam lives in Mt. Airy with her red-headed family, cheers passionately for the Phillies, and treasures time spent with her loved ones and her incredible community.
