Kindergarten Admission Process
Our youngest learners are the foundation of our community. We welcome applications to Kindergarten from all families who believe their children would thrive at GSFS. To apply for admission, complete the following steps by December 15 for priority consideration, or by January 15 for standard consideration.

Step 1: Online Application
When you're ready to begin the admission process, the first step is to complete the online application. A recommendation from a current teacher is also required, which can be requested and submitted through our online portal.

Step 2: Admission Visit
Once you've submitted your child's application, a member of our admission team will follow up to schedule an admission visit. For applicants to Kindergarten, the visit consists of a morning playdate with their age peers, facilitated by Greene Street faculty,
and a one-on-one assessment for Kindergarten readiness. This is an opportunity for your child to get to know our school, and for our staff to understand your child's interests, skills, and opportunities for growth.

Step 3: Parent / Caregiver Interview
In order to learn more about your hopes, needs, and desires for your child's educational experience, our admission team will schedule a 30-minute conversation with you. We will also take this time to answer your questions about our program and community. This interview may take place on the same day as your child's admission visit or at another time, in person or via Zoom, depending on your scheduling needs.

ADMISSION DECISION & ENROLLMENT
Our admission team will share admission decisions with applicants on the Priority Admission Track by January 15, and with those on the Standard Admission Track by February 15. The signed enrollment contract and non-refundable tuition deposit are due by February 15 for those admitted on the Priority Admission Track, and by March 1 for those admitted on the Standard Admission Track.
