Black History Family Fun Night

Save the Date: Black History Month Celebration, Saturday, February 20 at 5pm. Come share, learn, and experience an African oral tradition. Karen “Queen Nur” Abdul-Malik is a nationally renown storyteller and teaching artist. She is currently the president of the National Association of Black Storytellers and she and her guest drummer will share their gifts with the Greene Street Friends community. Organized by the Parents Association, the Black History Family Fun Night combines fun and engaging cultural programming with a splendid potluck dinner afterwards. The PA will supply the proteins, and parents are asked to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. Bring your family and friends!
