Make your day off a day on! Greene Street Friends School will be participating in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Families, alumni, parents of alumni, Meeting members, and friends are all welcome to join us in celebrating the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. and helping our community!
Service projects will include:
  • American Red Cross Blood Drive
  • Book drive for Tree House Books
  • Outdoor clean-up at Linglebach
  • Making birthday bags for Cradles to Crayons
  • Sorting clothing for Cradles to Crayons
  • Making breakfast bags for Aid for Friends
  • Making hygiene bags for The Mennonite Central Committee
  • Sorting toys and making crafts for the SPCA

If you are over 17 years of age, you can sign up for the Red Cross Blood Drive now by clicking here. Please log in and register ahead of time. January is National Blood Donor Month! To celebrate and say thank you, Dunkin' Donuts will supply a voucher for one pound of coffee to all donors at the GSFS blood drive.

Our formal program will begin at 8:30am in the Green Street Monthly Meetinghouse. Light breakfast will be served ahead of time in the Cafeteria of the Meetinghouse beginning at 8:00am.
