The students had a great time spending quality time with each other during our two flights. We arrived safe and sound and went through immigration and customs. Right after leaving the airport, we met our very kind bus driver, Finlander, who took us straight to lunch! We had a delicious meal prepared by Sandra's cousin Hector. All of the students ate and tried a bit of everything and had nothing but good things to say about the meal. After lunch, we took a five minute drive to our home base and the kids settled into their rooms. We finished off the day with a very fun Spanish class and the much anticipated pen pal meeting!! The students' laughter could be heard throughout our lovely oasis. Today was a pheomenal day and we are looking forward to tomorrow's new experiences.
