Frankie Parker - Kindergarten Teaching Associate

Frankie (she/they) graduated from Muhlenberg College amidst the chaos of 2020. After a few years of working at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site and substitute teaching in the Philadelphia School District, Frankie decided to go to Vermont. During this 7 month long respite from Philadelphia in 2023, Frankie led a crew of 17 and 18 year-olds through daily farm tasks at Vermont Youth Conservation Corps and loved it. It made them even more sure of their passion for educating, and for forming connections with young people in the process. Frankie is thrilled to be a Teaching Associate in the Kindergarten! In their free time they love to garden, write, draw, do science experiments in the kitchen, and spend time with friends.
