My name is Isabella Dougherty (she/her), and I was born and raised in Colombia. I'm so excited to be part of the GSFS community. Teaching Spanish has given me the chance to share not only my language, but also my culture, which means so much to me.
What drew me to Greene Street Friends School is the warm and welcoming environment. As an immigrant, I truly feel it is a safe space where we can speak freely, learn together, and celebrate our different backgrounds. That sense of belonging inspires me every day in my work with students. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my 3 cats, who always keep life interesting!
