Nadia Hopkins - 5/6 Teaching Associate

middle school

Nadia Hopkins (she/her) is thrilled to be a Teaching Associate at Greene Street Friends. Nadia is a recent grad of Connecticut College, where she studied Theater and English and performed in a short form improv trope for four years. Nadia grew up going to Catoctin Quaker Camp, a program run by Baltimore Yearly Meeting, where she was first introduced to Quaker values through songs and the outdoors.

For the past five summers, Nadia has worked at camps within Baltimore Yearly Meeting in a number of roles, leading backpacking trips and making community with young people through a wonder for the natural world. As a theater artist and educator, Nadia is excited by the ways performance can allow us to understand stories outside ourselves. In her free time, Nadia is writing plays or going on hikes to try to find really big clouds.
