On Monday, September 22 the seventh and eighth graders went to camp Dark Waters for our annual Middle School Trip.  From what's been said so far the middle schoolers had a great time!  Some of the activities included canoeing, high ropes, and team building. In my opinion, the canoeing was the best part.  There was splashing and races and lots of fun. 

     One of the team building activities included a wooden frame in the shape of an A that had ropes tied to the top. One person had to stand in the middle while everyone else worked together and pulled the ropes to make the frame move forward. There was also activity where there were plastic pipes and a marble and you had to figure out a way to move the marble to a tree at the other end of the trail. The high ropes were almost like tight ropes and you had to walk across without falling (Don't worry parents there were harnesses and the students were safely secured). Overall it was a very fun and a trip that got kids out of their comfort zones.
