Baba Doc Gibbs Brings International Percussion Instruments to GSFS
Even though the Black History Family Fun Night in February was cancelled due to snow, the evening's entertainment, Baba Doc Gibbs, came to GSFS on Monday for a special drumming performance!
He showed students how to play many types of percussion instruments, including a spring drum, rain stick, cajon box drum from Cuba, steel drum from Trinidad, and a metal bell from Ghana.
Students and teachers had a blast! Thank you to the Parents Association for organizing this assembly.
