Happy 100 Days of School!

This Wednesday was the 100th day of school! The Kindergarten classes celebrated with a morning of special 100-themed activities, including:
  • Reading 100 Ways to Celebrate 100 Days.
  • A 100-themed activity booket, including drawing pictures of what each students thinks he or she will look like at age 100.
  •  Seeing if 100 licks would be enough to finish a lollipop (it was not!).
  •  Sitting in silence for 100 seconds (or at least trying to).
  • Decorating and wearing glasses in the shape of 100.
  • Watching a video of the book Emily's First 100 Days of School by Rosemary Wells.
  • Feasting on a Rice Krispie treat cake in the shape of "100."

The original 100th day of school was scheduled for last Friday, but was pushed back due to the two snow days this school year.
