Sarah Hollister ’92 is the mother of Nico, and an organizer of Little Friends Day. Their family lives in Germantown, just a few blocks from Greene Street Friends. She is the coordinator of Little Friends Day and has shared below why she is so excited for this new event. Questions? Please can contact Sarah at sbhollis@hotmail.com.

Why are you excited about this event?

Little Friends Day is a great opportunity to share GSFS with my little one. I have such great memories of growing up at Greene Street and it is exciting to share this with my son and partner.

Often Schools call this Baby Day, why did you broaden the name to be more inclusive?

I do believe in the saying "it takes a village to raise a child." Families take many shapes and it only seemed right to be inclusive of the important relationships that exist in each adult's and child's life.

Who do you hope will come?

The whole GSFS community should come, but I particularly hope alumni will come and share their school with their Little Friends.

Why do you think this is an important part of our alumni outreach?

GSFS is about building community and this is a great way to connect with GSFS families, support the school and have fun.

What will make Little Friends Day fun?

Pancakes and music! What more is there to say...bring all your little friends!
