Jane Ellis (Dean, 4th-8th Grade)

Jane (she/her) is starting her 2nd year as the Dean of Grades 4-8 and Co-director of the Teaching Associate (TA) Program at Greene Street Friends. Previously, she served as the 4th grade lead teacher. She completed her Bachelor’s at Villanova University and earned her Masters in Education from St. Joseph’s in May of 2018. In her spare time, Jane enjoys reading a good book and spending time with her husband Tim, her three children (which includes twin girls born August 2023!), and her Boston Terrier Frank. 

Jane is also the coordinator of the Germantown Community Fridge located outside of Greene Street Friends School on Armat Street. There is a second location on High Street in front of First United Methodist Church of Germantown. It is a 24/7 community-run free fridge that is fueled by local businesses and volunteers! The motto is "Take what you want, leave what you can."
