Antonia (she/her) is excited to rejoin GSFS as the PK-6th Spanish teacher after a brief stint as a TA in 2018, after which she taught 3rd grade Spanish immersion at Independence Charter School. She transitioned to teaching at the Miquon School where she developed and implemented their Spanish language program over two years. At GSFS, Antonia is looking forward to fostering curiosity and play, dispelling cultural stereotypes and promoting social justice, and instilling a love of language learning.

Antonia is a heritage speaker of Spanish, attending Central High School in Philadelphia and was raised in a Flamenco family, performing and teaching as a lecturer/demonstrator throughout the East-Coast and Southwest of the country. Holding a B.A. in Spanish from Saint Joseph's University, Antonia is a life-long learner and hopes to share her passion for language with the GSFS community.

In Antonia’s house lives her 7 year old daughter Amara, 1 year old son Aleister, and partner Adam and they spend summers together at her family’s home in Spain. Antonia is a supporter of Liverpool Football Club and a science fiction fan.
