Craig Cook-Escribano

Craig (he/him) is originally from the United Kingdom. He gained his Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of East Anglia, and then his Qualified Teaching Status in England from the University of Suffolk. Teaching and shaping young adults is his passion. Back in the UK he taught grades 4/5, and was Maths lead for 3 schools. Within the last 2 years he has relocated to the US, and been teaching Pre-Kindergarten. He is now happily joining Greene Street Friends, and aiming to complete his state equivalency certification while he learns more about the US educational system.

 Outside of the classroom, Craig is very sporty.  He likes to keep himself fit in the gym, and enjoys watching soccer and boxing. He is a qualified personal trainer, swim teacher, soccer coach, and an elite level Boxercise instructor. When he is not working up a sweat, he also loves reading fantasy novels, and can spend whole weekends buried in a good book. Craig lives with his wife and their (demanding) fur family of two dogs (Pixar and Atlas), and two cats (Fuwa and Figaro) in Northwest Philadelphia.
