Sophie Sepel

This year, Sophie Sepel will be joining the Greene Street community as a 2nd Grade Teaching Associate in Imani’s class! Sophie earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Vermont in 2015.  Before working at Greene Street, Sophie interned as a teaching assistant in various classroom settings, including an early childhood center in Burlington, Vermont, and a secondary school in Sevilla, Spain. Sophie spent this past year as an Americorps member in Wilmington, Delaware, working with students on literacy skills.  Previously, Sophie has spent many summers at Journey’s End Farm Camp, where she learned to deepen her appreciation for nature and her understanding of Quaker values.  In her free time, Sophie enjoys listening to and creating all types of music, learning new things, and spending time outside!
