Please join us to celebrate and socialize as we end school the year. Jill Gurvey (mom of Zack and Maxine Wray) and Gretchen Trefny (mom of Owen and Nate Sears) are organizing the Stan Kenyon Family Picnic and are looking for some volunteers to assist us in making this another great event.
The picnic is Friday night, May 29 from 5:30-7:30 outside. The rain date is Monday, June 1.
The cost is $6 per person or $24 per family of four or more. Children under 4 years old are free.

The Parents Association will supply hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and veggie burgers for everyone.
If your child is in Pre-K to Grade 5: Please bring a side dish, vegetable or salad for 15-20 people to share.
If your child is in Grades 6-8: Please bring a dessert or fruit for 15-20 people to share.

Next year's new students are families are invited to this picnic. It's a perfect event for current families to introduce themselves to the new families and show what a wonderful community we have at Greene Street Friends.
To make this event a success, we need your help! Please let Jill know if you can volunteer for any of the following tasks:
- 4:00pm: Set up (adults or strong students in 4th grade or older)
- 5:30pm: Grilling (adults only; half hour shifts)
- 5:30pm: Food table monitoring (half hour shirts)
- 6:15pm: Bring out desserts from kitchen
- 7:00pm: Clean up food table and bring dishes to collection table for owner pick-up
- 7:30pm: Clean up tables and chairs (adults or strong students in 4th grade or older)
