Before the Science Showcase

When I talked to Josh he seemed really excited for the Science Showcase for a lot of reasons. One being that he knew there would be some new projects for example there were a bunch of people using electricity to make boats and cars. In 5th grade many students did a biology project about how a certain animal got one of it's traits - for example how bunnies got their colors. Some did things like how the moon formed, how the planets formed, and how the universe formed. In 6th grade the main focus was on magnets, electricity and cells.

During the Science Showcase

During the science showcase each group had a presentation and an activity. Group members could take breaks from presenting to visit other stations and activities. A few activities involved running around. The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten were the first students to come to the station followed by 1st and 2nd grades. The presentations were on a poster board and included the theory, evidence, information on the scientist and their evidence, and incorrect theories.
