6th Grade Returns from Class Trip to PEEC

The Class of 2018 spent three days and two nights this week at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC). The students enjoyed time in nature and the opportunity to better get to know their teachers and classmates.

Most activities were done in groups that mixed up Becky's and Laura's classes, which made everyone very happy. "I liked having this trip at the beginning of the year because I feel more bonded to everyone in my grade," said sixth grader Ella. "We especially bonded over the challenge course!"

Sixth grade teaching associate Chace said the activities were wonderful. "There was a ecological focus - plus everything we did was in such amazing scenery."

Highlights of the trip included a night hike, canoeing, the challenge course, and performing skits and eating s'mores around the campfire.
