Introducing...Pops!
There's a new music group at GSFS this year...Pops! With a focus on Pop and Broadway music, Pops will be open to all Middle School students. Rehearsals will be every Tuesday during lunch/recess. The first official Pops performance will be at this year's Winter Concert.
In addition to singers, there will be opportunities for instrument-playing students to accompany on piano, guitar, or drums.
The Middle School Chorus and the Quaker Notes, Greene Street Friends' a capella ensemble, will also continue this year. All three groups will begin practice next week.
Quaker Notes will meet on Tuesday mornings before school (7:15am to 8:00am) and during lunch/recess on Wednesday. It is open to all students in Grades 6-8.
