Student Government TORCH Leads Middle School in First Meeting of the School Year
That afternoon, 8th grade TORCH (which stands for Togetherness, Open-mindedness, Respect, Compassion, and Heart) leaders Cynthia, Grace, and Isaac led a meeting for the entire Middle School.
Each class previously met and discussed the strengths and opportunities for growth in Wednesday afternoon Choices and social events. Class representatives presented on their classes suggestions. Popular items included spending more time with Partners, increased opportunities for community service, and additional dances.
TORCH student representatives will work to implement some of the ideas discussed throughout the rest of the year.
