In our Lower School, teachers plan technology-enabled activities that coincide with the classroom focus and expand upon concepts that students are currently learning. Beginning in Pre-Kindergarten, we introduce students to the opportunities that tablets and laptops provide for creation, exploration, and investigation, while reinforcing the need for responsible and safe use of technology. Whether it is using mapping applications to explore historically significant regions of activity or utilizing online resources to deepen the understanding of an animal's habitat, GSFS students are asked to become confident explorers of new technolog(ies) and to reflect GSFS values through our digital footprint.
